Developed for spotters and ground support, this package combines Rugged Radio's H42 headset with two handheld radios and splitter.
Some sanctioning bodies such as Ultra4 and Lucas require spotters to have two radios. One radio is "listen only" for race ops while the other provides full communication to your driver.
Monitor race ops and communicate with your driver with this complete Dual Radio Spotter Kit. The magic is with special radio splitter which prevents transmission on one radio, providing "listen only" capability only. For transmission to your driver, press the PTT on the radio or on your headset to transmit out on the other radio.
This next-generation Rugged R1 handheld is a workhorse! Go Further with a powerful 5 Watt transmitter, optimized receiver, and the versatility of DMR / analog cross-compatibility. DMR Digital operation allows you to take advantage of the latest technology, while Dual Band functionality lets you talk to race radios on both VHF and UHF frequencies.
